About the place
Sukošan is a small town and a harbour in the vast bay „Zlatna luka“, 10 km south-east of Zadar on the Adriatic road. The basic economy of this area is agriculture, vineyard farming, olive growing, fruit-growing and tourism.
The town has approximately 3000 residents. There is a kindergarten, an elementary school with a new equipped sports hall, a medical and dental practice, and everything else that makes this place enjoyable to live in throughout the year and many have recognized it as an ideal place for holidays.
The fact that there are over 3000 beds in luxurious apartments, pensions, motels and hotels, and numerous well visited campsites situated near the sea, proves that this is indeed a tourist place.
It became a real paradise for sailors thanks to the Marina “Dalmacija”.
